Dogs are pack animals. They are social creatures who have a deeply rooted need to socialize, interact and play with others, either dogs or humans. People have done a good job of domestication of dogs, because the socialization with other dogs is not enough. They must spend time with his people. People have busy schedule: grocery items work, school, dentist appointments, to keep (including the dog) fed, time with friends and colleagues work. These commitments are sometimes difficult to give your dog the company they want and need to be a dog well adjusted. Besides of our time commitments, too often to stress, which also makes the dog feel stressed. One and stressed dogs of this distress is often manifested in unwanted habits, such as furniture chewing, coprophagia (eating feces), foraging garbage skip, dig, aggressive behavior and willful disobedience.
Take time for your dog is not always easy. However, it is a proactive step to keep a bad minimum or incorrigible behavior. Should not be difficult, but can be done with only small changes. Here are some suggestions:
- Take your dog with you. When you're shopping fast, take your dog with you. Even if he stays in the car, is an opportunity see and feel something new, from a different perspective. simple emotion. Do not worry if you go in the car for more than twenty minutes a cool day and five on a hot day (leaving the windows cracked conservative). But shopping quickly provide some excitement for your dog without effort.
- Invite your dog in your room. It is not necessary to allow her to bed. It can sleep in his bed or the corner of the room or next to your bed (most dogs like to sleep with something on his back. It is a simple and effective move "on time" with your dog. Dogs are wired to sleep with his flock. It gives them a sense of unity and security. By allowing your dog in his room, which creates a close relationship with your dog.
- Spend time doing fun activities with each others. Walking the dog becomes a task when you're bored, so enjoy! If you're having fun, then it is more likely to give your dog exercise who need and deserve. Do not limit yourself to the same walk around the block (or neighborhood park.) Go somewhere new. Driving a dog park, or stroll around the lake that the dogs in the city or its center on foot (if you follow the rules of your city). generally require at least one hour exercise per day, which, of course, varies slightly between breeds highest estimate for medium and large dog breeds and work, and lower for smaller dog breeds and toys. If this becomes a fun activity for you and your dog, you can create a strong link between the two.
- Perfecting the art of multitasking! Wage attention to your dog while doing other things. If you are cooking, new concepts methods of training your dog in the middle of tasks. While watching television, rub his belly or his buddy. If you play with your children, tug of war game with your puppy, and learn to play quietly.
- If you live in a house with several people share the responsibility. If there children at home, must be included in the training of dogs. This helps teach your dog his place in the "Pack" and help teach their children to be around dogs (responsibility, exercise, etc. The list is long.) Make sure you do not have to do some something together that one or the other is not ready for. Nothing in the life of a child is a bit like being dragged around the block for a husky overenthusiastic. It is not pleasant either.
- If you think you have a dog, do research. If you're a busy person, she is not home most of the time, as pretty as the Labrador is not the ideal dog for you.
A little forethought and effort can go a long way for a harmonious and pleasant with your dog. Be creative and have fun!
